Islamabad, The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing a uniform code of conduct for the upcoming elections, ensuring adherence across all candidates and political parties.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ECP spokesperson, through a social media post, has issued strict instructions for candidates and political parties to comply with the established code of ethics. This includes a prohibition on the use of government buildings and electricity poles for erecting campaign hoardings and banners. The spokesperson also warned that fines will be imposed for any violations of these guidelines.
This move by the ECP demonstrates its resolve to maintain fairness and order in the electoral process, upholding the integrity of the elections.
