Islamabad: The Election Commission has announced August 26, 2024, as the final date to receive applications for postal ballots in the upcoming bye-election for the NA-171 R.Y. Khan-III constituency.
According to Press Information Department, the postal ballot option is available to government employees, armed forces members and their families, persons with physical disabilities, and detainees, provided they are stationed away from their voting constituencies. Voters eligible for this service must apply using the prescribed forms available through Mr. Waqas Zafar, Assistant Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan, or directly from the Election Commission’s website. The Commission has emphasized that postal voters will not be permitted to vote in person on election day.
