Islamabad: Eight Pakistanis were killed and thirty-five others injured following what officials described as Indian military strikes on various locations within Pakistan. The announcement was made by Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during a press conference.
Lt. Gen. Chaudhry stated that the strikes targeted multiple sites, resulting in significant casualties. Five of the deceased, including a young girl, were killed in Ahmed Pur East. Additionally, he reported that mosques in Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Muridke were also struck.
The ISPR chief emphasized that the Pakistani military plans to respond to the attacks, asserting that the response will be supported by the people of Pakistan. He further announced plans to bring media personnel to the affected areas to highlight the incidents to the international community.
