Islamabad: Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) will be celebrated tomorrow with religious zeal and reverence across Pakistan. The day will begin with a thirty-one-gun salute in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, and a twenty-one-gun salute in all provincial capitals.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, special prayers for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the country’s prosperity will be held after the Fajr prayers, marking it as a public holiday. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is set to organize a National Seerat Conference in Islamabad, which will be broadcast live by Radio Pakistan.
This evening, a Mehfil-e-Naat and Seerat Prize Distribution ceremony will also take place in Islamabad, celebrating the Prophet Muhammad’s life and teachings. The Ministry has organized decorations with colorful lights on streets, roads, buildings, mosques, and houses for the occasion.
Moreover, Milad processions will occur in all cities, where religious scholars will discuss the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, urging adherence to his Sunnah. Mahafil-e-Milad are also scheduled across various cities to shed light on the Seerat-un-Nabi and the teachings of the last Prophet.
