Eid Greetings Amidst Global Concerns for Muslims, Urges Unity and Support

Islamabad, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, a leader of the APHC-AJK, has extended warm Eidul-Fiter greetings to the Muslim Ummah, celebrating the end of Ramadan and the revelation of the Quran. However, his message was imbued with grave concerns regarding the challenges facing Muslims globally, particularly the effects of aggression by racist and imperialist forces.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Rehmani highlighted the significant impact of the guidance provided by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while cautioning against the severe trials Muslims are facing worldwide. He specifically addressed the genocide in Gaza, Palestine, where the conflict supported by the US and Western powers has resulted in over 30,000 casualties, including a vast number of children and women.

Furthermore, Rehmani pointed to the troubling situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), where he alleged a collaboration between India’s Modi regime and the Zionist regime has led to the massacre of approximately a hundred thousand Kashmiri Muslims over three decades. He stressed the urgent need for Muslim governments to adhere to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah to navigate these challenges effectively.

Additionally, a spokesperson for the Jammu and Kashmir National Front also conveyed Eid greetings, appealing to the affluent within the Muslim community to support the underprivileged, particularly those suffering due to Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This call to action emphasized the Eidul-Fiter spirit of sharing and caring for the less fortunate.

These statements underscore the juxtaposition of Eid’s celebratory spirit with the sobering realities of conflicts affecting Muslims in various regions, urging a unified and compassionate response from the global Muslim community.
