Efforts will be made to unite Opposition against BJP in next elections: Nitish

New Delhi, September 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that he would work to unite Opposition parties across India to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Addressing party leaders and workers in Patna, Nitish wondered if “poaching is not corruption”. He said BJP considers those who support it ‘sadachari (people with good conduct)’ and those who oppose it ‘bhrashtachari (corrupt)’. His remarks appear to be in apparent reference to Opposition leaders switching sides and crossing over to the BJP in many states.
