ISLAMABAD, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, directed the Federal Directorate of Education to ensure that educational institutions in the federal capital hold regular sports events.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, addressing the Annual Sports Day of Islamabad Model College for Girls F-8/1, the Minister expressed that physical wellness is crucial for mental well-being and overall health. He also emphasized that the Federal Directorate of Education should oversee the maintenance of sports facilities in all federal educational establishments. Madad Ali Sindhi also asked school and college principals to consistently conduct PT classes aiming at the holistic fitness of students. The Sports Day witnessed active participation from junior and senior students in various events, and the Minister presented shields and certificates to the winners.
