Islamabad, October 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):Election Commission of Pakistan has announced local bodies’ election schedule in Khyber Pakthunkhwa. Provincial Election Commissioner, Sharifullah Khan while addressing a press conference in Peshawar, said the local bodies’ elections for neighbourhood, village and tehsil councils would be held in two phases. He said in first phase, election would be held in 17 districts of the province on December 19th this year, while in the second phase, polling would take place in 18 districts on January 16, 2022.
