ECP Establishes Monitoring Centers for Efficient Oversight of 2024 General Elections

Islamabad, In preparation for the upcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up Election Monitoring and Control Centers (EMCC) at various administrative levels across the country. These centers are aimed at registering and addressing public complaints efficiently to ensure a transparent electoral process.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these centers have been established at the provincial, divisional, and district levels, including Islamabad, to facilitate the swift resolution of public grievances related to the elections. Trained personnel are deployed in these centers to handle complaints promptly and effectively.

The EMCCs will maintain regular communication with relevant election officials and stakeholders, including preliminary findings, Returning Officers, and District Returning Officers. This network is designed to ensure that any issues arising during the electoral process are quickly identified and addressed.

For public convenience, the ECP has provided multiple channels to register complaints. Individuals can email their concerns to [email protected] or send them via WhatsApp to 0327-5050610. Additionally, a helpline (111-327-000) is operational from eight in the morning until six in the evening to assist complainants.

The establishment of these monitoring centers signifies the ECP’s commitment to conducting fair and transparent general elections in 2024, ensuring that the electoral process is accessible and accountable to the public.
