Islamabad: A special meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet was held in Islamabad, chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, to review the implementation status of key policy decisions across multiple sectors.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting assessed the progress of previous ECC decisions concerning finance, interior, industries and production, inter-provincial coordination, housing and works, food security and research, power, and national health services regulation and coordination. The ECC was updated on the overall implementation status of its past resolutions, with relevant ministries providing individual presentations on pending issues and the actions required for their resolution.
The committee expressed concern over delays in executing its decisions and instructed the involved ministries to enhance coordination efforts. The ECC emphasized the need for timely compliance and completion of tasks and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of its decisions.
