Early settlement of Kashmir dispute under UN resolutions stressed

Islamabad, October 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, terming the Kashmir dispute as a humanitarian problem, emphasized the need for its immediate settlement according to the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Kashmiri journalists who called on her at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat in Islamabad, today.

She lamented that India had turned the occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a military cantonment while the entire Kashmiri leadership was currently languishing in New Delhi’s Tihar and other Indian jails.

Mushaal Mullick said her husband Muhammad Yasin Malik has been awarded the life imprisonment sentence by an Indian court in New Delhi and the Modi’s fascist government wants to hang him and the international community should take notice of it.
