Dukki: In a concerted effort to elevate the district’s educational standards, the District Education Group (DEG) of Dukki, led by Deputy Commissioner Kaleemullah Kakar, convened to assess and strategize on enhancing the quality of education. The meeting brought together key local education officials to review current educational programs and address specific challenges, including teacher absences.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the gathering included Assistant Commissioner Loni Biberg Lahri, District Education Officer Bakhtiar Kakar, District Education Manager Obaid Tareen, Finance Officer Umair Jamali, among others. The primary focus was the review of educational initiatives and the discussion of new measures to improve teaching and learning environments within the district.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Kakar expressed particular concern over the absenteeism of teachers, which has been identified as a significant barrier to educational progress. An absence report was presented, detailing the rates and reasons for teachers not attending school, which spurred a directive for all educators to fulfill their responsibilities diligently or face strict legal consequences.
The session also covered the outcomes of recent inspections across various educational clusters, pinpointing prevalent issues and potential opportunities for improvement. The officials resolved to implement practical steps for several new projects aimed at enhancing educational quality.
Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among all stakeholders to drive educational advancement in Dukki. He highlighted the commitment required from teachers, administrators, and government bodies to achieve the desired educational outcomes for the district.
