Dukki Anti-Polio Campaign Reviews Day One, Plans for Enhanced Future Strategy

Dukki: The initial phase of the anti-polio campaign in Dukki was scrutinized during an evening review meeting led by Deputy Commissioner Kaleemullah Kakar. The meeting, which aimed to assess the day’s outcomes and refine future approaches, saw the participation of key health and law enforcement officials.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included DHO Dr. Rafiq Ahmed Baloch, IOWHO Dr. Shahjahan, Risaldar Major Levies Force Haji Ali Muhammad, SI Police Noorul Haq Loni, and heads of various departments. They provided a comprehensive briefing on the performance of the polio teams which was thoroughly analyzed by the Deputy Commissioner. The discussion highlighted both the successes and the challenges faced on the first day of the campaign.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the polio teams’ performance and encouraged the community to continue supporting the health initiatives. He emphasized the critical need for vaccinating all children under five against polio to safeguard their health and prevent future outbreaks. The success of the campaign, he noted, is crucial in achieving these health goals.

Citizens were also urged to contribute actively to the success of the campaign by cooperating with the district administration and health department teams. The meeting concluded with plans to enhance strategies based on the day’s feedback to ensure the campaign’s effectiveness in the coming days.
