Dukki Administration Tightens Oversight on Medical Practices Following Public Complaints

Dukki: In a decisive move to clamp down on illegal medical practices, the Dukki administration, led by Assistant Commissioner Zahoor Ahmed Baloch, has initiated a series of inspections and enforcement actions against local medical facilities. This follows a slew of public grievances concerning the sale of illegal drugs and unqualified medical practitioners, which were brought to light during a recent open court session.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the crackdown was carried out under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Kaleemullah Kakar. Assistant Commissioner Baloch, along with District Health Officer Dr. Muhammad Rafiq Baloch and Tehsildar Sardar Abdul Razzaq Damar, conducted thorough inspections of various clinics, medical stores, and laboratories.

The team enforced strict compliance with health regulations, resulting in the sealing of two clinics for substandard hygiene and the illegal sale of drugs. Medical store owners were also warned to update and renew their operational certificates promptly. Assistant Commissioner Baloch emphasized that the administration is committed to ongoing vigilance and will continue to take stringent measures against any violations to safeguard public health.
