Islamabad, As per the latest press release from NWFC, a continental air mass currently dominates most regions of Pakistan, resulting in predominantly dry weather conditions. The northern parts of the country, however, are expected to experience colder temperatures.
For Thursday, the forecast predicts dry conditions across most regions, with colder weather anticipated in the northern areas. Similar conditions are expected for Friday, with cold temperatures in the northern regions during the night and morning hours. A notable exception is the forecast for south Balochistan, where isolated rain wind-thunderstorms are anticipated.
Reviewing the past 24-hour weather report, dry weather remained prevalent over a majority of the country. Nevertheless, specific areas, namely south Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan, experienced rain-wind/thunderstorms. In terms of recorded rainfall in millimeters, Lasbella in Balochistan witnessed 14mm, followed by Panjgur with 07mm, Khuzdar with 02mm, and Dalbandin registering 01mm. In Gilgit Baltistan, Skardu observed 02mm of rainfall, while Gilgit recorded 01mm.
Regarding recorded minimum temperatures, Leh stood out with a temperature of -02°C, followed closely by Kalam at -01°C.
