Driving test conducted for vacant posts in Safe City (Safer) project 

Islamabad, January 19, 2023 (PPI-OT):According to details, a driving test was conducted for the candidates who passed the written examination but didn’t appear in earlier test for some personnel issues for the vacant posts of drivers in the Safe City (Safer) project, a police public relations officer said. He said that, the driving test was supervised by CPO Safe City Syed Fareed Shah. CPO Safe City briefed the candidates about the test. In the first phase the driving test was conducted in the presence of traffic police staff. In the second phase, traffic signals and road signs test were taken.

Following the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, to ensure transparency and merit, the whole process of the written test was recorded by safe city cameras, smart cars, drones and video cameras. CPO Safe City has said that all the recruitment process will be done in full transparency and on merit. The candidates are being informed through social media and other different platforms, so that all candidates who have passed the written test can take part in other phases easily.
