Lahore: The 10th death anniversary of Dr. Israr Ahmed, a prominent religious scholar, is being commemorated today by his followers. Born on April 26, 1932, Dr. Israr Ahmed was a graduate of King Edward College, Lahore, in 1954, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Islamic Studies from Karachi University in 1965.
Dr. Israr Ahmed dedicated his life to reviving interest in Quran-based Islamic philosophy. His contributions include sixty books on various aspects of Islam, along with numerous audio and video lectures focusing on the teachings of the Quran.
In recognition of his efforts in religious education, Dr. Israr Ahmed was awarded the Sitara-I-Imtiaz in 1981. His legacy continues to influence and inspire his followers, who are observing his anniversary with respect and admiration.
