DPM Reviews Progress on Pak-UAE Cooperation Ahead of Key Meeting


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired an inter-ministerial meeting today to review the progress on Pakistan-UAE bilateral cooperation. The session, held in Islamabad, was part of the preparations for the upcoming 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission, which is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi next week.



The meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and senior officials from various ministries, including Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs, and Interior, among others. Representatives from the Special Investment Facilitation Council and the State Bank of Pakistan were also present.



Discussions focused on the progress of cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE across multiple sectors. The participants explored opportunities to enhance investment ties between the two nations.



Senator Dar underscored the importance of strengthening economic and trade relations with the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the potential benefits of deeper collaboration in these areas.
