DPM Pushes for Swift Solarization of Tubewells in Balochistan


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has called for the swift and efficient implementation of a solarization project for tubewells in Balochistan. During a high-level meeting on Saturday, Dar instructed relevant departments to expedite their efforts in finalizing the project, aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and improve farmers’ livelihoods in the region.



The meeting, which focused on the solarization initiative, brought together key figures including the Federal Minister for Finance, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, senior officials from the Ministry of Power, and representatives from the Balochistan government. The discussions centered on the need for synergy among stakeholders to ensure the efficient use of resources for timely execution.



Dar underscored the importance of the solarization project in promoting clean energy and reducing operational costs. He emphasized that the initiative is crucial for boosting agricultural output and supporting the economic well-being of farmers across Balochistan.



The directive from the Deputy Prime Minister signals a concerted effort by the government to transition towards sustainable energy solutions in the region, aligning with broader environmental and economic goals.
