Abu Dhabi: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the United Arab Emirates. In a meeting with the UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dar expressed gratitude for the UAE’s continuous support for Pakistan’s economic progress.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting held in Abu Dhabi focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, energy, and defense. Both leaders expressed their desire to maintain regular high-level engagements and consultations to further solidify bilateral ties.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its strategic relationship with Pakistan. He acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions to regional stability and appreciated the role of the Pakistani community in the UAE’s development.
The discussions also included coordination on regional and international issues of mutual concern, highlighting the importance of a strong partnership between the two nations. Both sides agreed that continuous dialogue and cooperation are essential for addressing shared challenges.
