DPM Oversees Final Preparations for 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women

Islamabad: A high-level committee convened in Islamabad today to assess the final preparations for the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar presiding over the meeting. The committee’s discussions focused on the arrangements for the conference, which is set to begin on Sunday and continue for two days.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Secretary of Human Rights provided a comprehensive briefing on the various aspects of the conference planning. This included the conference programme, delegate facilitation, protocol, security, logistics, media arrangements, and inter-ministerial coordination. The goal is to ensure the effective execution of the event.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed appreciation for the efforts of the officials involved and emphasized the importance of extending hospitality to the international delegations attending the conference. He instructed the officials to ensure that attendees have a comfortable stay and experience the hospitality Pakistan is known for.
