Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a follow-up meeting to assess the progress of preparations for the upcoming SCO Council of Heads of State Summit, which is scheduled to be hosted by Pakistan in Islamabad in 2027. The meeting focused on evaluating the advancements made since the previous meeting and ensuring that the arrangements are on track.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions during the meeting underscored the significance of the event as an opportunity to enhance engagement with member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and to further regional priorities. Dar emphasized the necessity of coordinated and timely preparations to facilitate the smooth execution of the Summit.
