Lahore, June 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): Director General of Social Welfare, Muddassir Riaz Malik, paid visit to Nasheman, (skill training institute for persons with disabilities). The purpose of the visit was to observe the progress and development of the institute and its students. During the visit, DGSW interacted with the special students who had undergone skills training at the institute. The students showcased them acquire skills and demonstrated their abilities in various vocational fields.

As a gesture of support and encouragement, the Director General distributed stipends among the students. Additionally, DGSW presented gifts to the students as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The visit by the Director General and the distribution of stipends and gifts serves to highlight the commitment of Social Welfare Department towards empowering persons with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in society. By investing in their skill development and recognizing their achievements, the department aims to create opportunities for persons with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
