Dignified Repatriation of Illegal Foreign Nationals, Including Afghans

Islamabad, The ongoing repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, predominantly Afghan citizens, is being conducted in a dignified and safe manner, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ministry’s recent report highlights the government’s efforts to ensure a respectful and orderly process for those returning to their homeland. To facilitate this, transit camps have been established across various districts, providing temporary accommodation equipped with necessary facilities for the returnees.

As of the latest statistics, an additional 917 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated to Afghanistan yesterday. This recent movement is part of a larger repatriation effort that has seen a total of 456,562 illegal Afghan nationals return to Afghanistan.

The process underscores the government’s commitment to handling the complex issue of illegal immigration with humanity and respect for the individuals involved. The establishment of well-facilitated transit camps reflects the government’s approach to ensuring that the repatriation process is as smooth and comfortable as possible for those returning to their home countries.
