ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Inspector General of Security, Rana Umar Farooq, conducted a comprehensive review of the security measures at the Parliament House, focusing on entry and exit protocols, surveillance systems, and the performance of personnel on duty.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, during his visit, DIG Security Farooq, accompanied by senior officers, meticulously inspected key security components and was briefed on the current arrangements. He instructed the officers to enhance the security measures to ensure a robust and foolproof system, emphasizing the importance of strict checks at all access points.
Farooq highlighted the need for security personnel to maintain vigilance and uphold their professional responsibilities to effectively manage any potential emergencies. He reiterated that safeguarding the institutions in the High-Security Zone remains a top priority, with all available resources being allocated for this purpose.
He expressed satisfaction with the existing security arrangements and provided further directives to senior officers for improvements.
