Islamabad: Taking prompt action on the grievances of police officers, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security, Rana Umar Farooq, convened an orderly room following directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The meeting aimed to address and prioritize the resolution of both departmental and personal issues faced by officers in the Islamabad Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, officers from the Security Division attended the session where they presented various concerns to DIG Security. In response, DIG Farooq instructed the officers to re-evaluate inquiries into serious matters and issued directives to address other pending issues effectively.

During the meeting, DIG Farooq highlighted several initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of police officers, such as enhancements in housing, medical facilities, and educational standards. He assured the officers of his open-door policy for any issues they might encounter, stressing the importance of collective efforts for the city’s betterment.

He reiterated that the orderly room was organized with the primary objective of addressing the welfare and operational concerns of police officers promptly.
