DIG Islamabad Reviews Security Arrangements Across City


Islamabad: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted a review of security arrangements throughout the district, focusing on the city’s preparedness during the holy month of Ramadan. The visit included interactions with police officers to reinforce public safety measures.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Tariq’s assessment involved visits to key areas where he met officers on duty, emphasizing the need for vigilance and safety. The police personnel were acknowledged for their commitment to maintaining security at various checkpoints. Special attention has been directed towards masjids and imambargahs, with tailored security measures implemented for Ramadan.



DIG Tariq reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad police to safeguard citizens, highlighting the continuous effort to utilize all resources to maintain law and order.
