DIG Islamabad Prioritizes Public Grievances with Open Forums


ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Shakir Hussain Dawar, has reiterated the commitment of the police force to address citizens’ grievances as a top priority. In a recent initiative, Dawar held a Khulli Katcheri, an open court session, at his office to facilitate direct communication with the public.



During the session, Dawar highlighted the availability of the IGP Complaint Cell 1715 for citizens to register their complaints. He mentioned that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has directed senior police officers to host similar open courts across the district.



To ensure widespread accessibility, zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting these open courts in their respective areas, providing a platform for citizens to voice their concerns.



Dawar emphasized the commitment of the Islamabad Police to not only hear but also effectively resolve issues faced by the public. He encouraged all residents of Islamabad to participate in these forums, assuring them that their grievances would be addressed promptly.
