Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar conducted a Khulli Katcheri at his office to address public grievances and issued immediate directives for their resolution. The initiative underscores the Islamabad Police’s commitment to resolving public issues.
During the open court, DIG Dawar highlighted that citizens could also register their complaints through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715. This measure is part of a broader directive from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has instructed senior police officers to organize open courts throughout the district.
In adherence to these directives, all zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting open courts in their respective zones. This effort aims to ensure that citizens’ concerns are heard and addressed promptly.
DIG Dawar reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to engage with the community and effectively resolve their issues. He encouraged every citizen of Islamabad to openly share their grievances at these forums, emphasizing that addressing public grievances is the utmost priority for the police force.
