ISLAMABAD: In a move to address public concerns swiftly, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted an open court session at his office following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
During the session, citizens presented their complaints, and the DIG issued immediate instructions to relevant officers for resolution. He highlighted the importance of resolving public issues promptly and emphasized that every citizen is entitled to equal rights.
The DIG stressed the police’s responsibility in safeguarding lives and property while maintaining citizens’ dignity. He assured that addressing public grievances is a priority.
Furthermore, he warned that strict actions would be taken against any officials found engaging in bribery or corruption, reiterating a zero-tolerance policy towards such practices.
Officers were instructed to use all available resources to address public grievances. The DIG emphasized that all applications must be processed on merit, ensuring that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity is upheld.
