Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, convened an open court at his office to address public grievances, issuing immediate directives for their resolution.
During the session, DIG Tariq emphasized that citizens have the option to register complaints through the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715.” He noted that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has instructed senior police officers to organize open courts across the district.
In compliance with these directives, all zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting open courts in their respective zones to ensure that citizens’ concerns are heard and addressed.
DIG Tariq reiterated that the Islamabad Police are committed to engaging with the public and resolving their issues effectively. He encouraged every citizen of Islamabad to openly share their grievances at these forums, underscoring that the resolution of public complaints is a priority for the police force.
