Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar chaired a pivotal meeting to assess the progress of ongoing construction projects related to police stations across Islamabad. The meeting, attended by AIG General Inayat Ali Shah, Director Special Initiatives Shams-ul-Haq Durrani, and in-charges of CPO branches, focused on evaluating current efforts and setting new objectives.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the DIG Headquarters called for comprehensive progress reports on various construction projects aimed at enhancing police stations, public convenience, and police welfare. Malik Jameel Zafar emphasized the importance of completing these projects within established time frames while maintaining quality and transparency. He instructed officers to ensure that the construction aligns with modern requirements and improves access for citizens, along with enhancing residential and welfare facilities for police personnel.
The DIG Headquarters directed regular monitoring of the projects to expedite progress, stressing that delays and negligence would not be tolerated. He underscored the need for transparent fund utilization and adherence to quality standards. New targets were assigned to officers with specific timelines, and significant progress is expected to be presented in upcoming meetings.
