DIG Headquarters Conducts Review of Police Projects in Islamabad


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police’s ongoing construction projects, infrastructure upgrades, and administrative initiatives were the focus of a recent meeting led by DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar at the Central Police Office in Islamabad. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting saw participation from AIG Logistics, SSP CTD, AIG General, and other relevant officers.



During the session, comprehensive evaluations were undertaken concerning the facilities available to police officers and personnel, official matters, and the provision of modern infrastructure. The discussion centered on ensuring that development projects adhere to principles of high quality, transparency, and timely completion. Continuous monitoring was emphasized to prevent delays or negligence.



DIG Headquarters highlighted the importance of enhancing the professional capabilities of the Islamabad Police, providing improved facilities, and developing infrastructure aligned with modern needs. The use of available resources to strengthen the police system was underscored as a priority.



Instructions were given to participating officers to uphold merit, accountability, and transparency, while also accelerating the pace of development work to improve the administrative and professional capabilities of the force.
