Devinder Singh stresses unity to thwart Modi regime’s designs in IIOJK

Srinagar, October 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation led by APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Advocate Devinder Singh Behl, visited the residence of Satinder Kaur, principal of a school in Srinagar who was recently killed by unidentified gunmen, and offered condolences with the bereaved family.

Advocate Devinder Singh Behl on the occasion said that some elements want Kashmiris to fight among themselves as Indian intelligence agencies have staged massacre of 35 innocent Sikhs in Chattisinghpora area of Srinagar on March 20, 2000 to trigger communal discard among the Kashmiris. However, the Sikhs had thwarted India’s nefarious plans, he added.

The APHC leader stressed the need to expose the conspiracy behind the killing of Satinder Kour as “it is our firm belief that the enemy is also behind this murder as it wants to trigger a fight between the Sikhs and the Muslims in the territory”.

Devinder Singh Behl said RSS-backed Modi government is trying to destroy the atmosphere of traditional brotherhood by stoking communal disharmony in occupied Kashmir with an aim to deter Kashmiris from their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

He said that Modi government is working on different plans to divide Kashmiris and change the demographic composition of IIOJK. And for this purpose, he added, New Delhi revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019 and paved the way for the resettlement of non-Kashmiris in the occupied territory under the new domicile law. He emphasized the need for unity among the Kashmiris to thwart the conspiracies of the enemy.
