Deputy Speaker of New York State Assembly Discusses Bilateral Ties with Pakistani Senate Leader

ISLAMABAD, A delegation from the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC), led by Mr. Phil Ramos, Deputy Speaker of the New York State Assembly, met with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the Leader of the House in the Senate, at Parliament House. The delegation discussed several initiatives, including a proposal to declare New York State and Punjab as sister states, aiming to strengthen the partnership between the two regions.

According to Senate of Pakistan reported that the meeting focused on collaboration opportunities in education, health, and trade. A key topic was improving healthcare facilities in Pakistan and ensuring access for Pakistani-Americans. Senator Dar welcomed the discussions and committed to addressing these concerns effectively.
