Deputy Speaker briefed about JKSDMI’s work to highlight Kashmir dispute

Islamabad, June 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) Chairman, Raja Najabat Hussain, and the President of Youth Parliament of Pakistan, Ubaid-ul-Rehman Qureshi met the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly, Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri, in his Chamber.

The JKSDMI Chairman, Raja Najabat Hussain briefed the Deputy Speaker about the work of his organization and Youth Parliament of Pakistan on the Kashmir dispute in Pakistan and abroad. They discussed the future activities of 13th July, Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, and International Parliamentarians Conference to be held on 4th August on the eve of the completion of two years to India’s illegal moves of 5th August 2019.

It was also discussed how to lobby the international parliamentarians and human right organizations at the international level with the support of Pakistani Parliament, government and Diaspora communities. The Deputy Speaker assured the delegation of his full support and guidance on the instruction of Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

Uzma Riaz Jadoon, MNA and General Secretary of Young Parliamentarians of Pakistani Parliament; Shandana Gulzar Khan, MNA and Chairperson of Commonwealth Women’s Parliamentary Group; Ms Nafeesa Khattak, MNA, and Shujahat Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
