Deputy Prime Minister Praises Pakistan Missions for Economic Diplomacy


ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has commended the efforts of Pakistan’s diplomatic missions abroad in promoting the nation’s diplomatic, consular, and economic interests.



According to Radio Pakistan, Dar chaired a committee meeting in Islamabad to evaluate the performance of Pakistan’s missions overseas. During the meeting, he highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination between the central government and its missions abroad. He emphasized the need for results-oriented diplomacy to ensure effective delivery and optimal use of resources.



The Deputy Prime Minister also instructed that these initiatives be maintained and strengthened to align fully with the country’s foreign policy goals and to maximize their impact. The meeting saw the participation of several key figures, including Minister of State Bilal Kayani, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, and Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch.
