Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan to Meet U.S. Secretary of State in Washington


Washington: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar is set to meet with United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, D.C. today. The meeting aims to review bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.



According to Radio Pakistan, discussions will also focus on strengthening cooperation in key sectors and Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. The visit by Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscores Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the United States.



Deputy Prime Minister Dar arrived in Washington, D.C. for the official visit, where he was welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with senior officials from the Embassy of Pakistan.
