Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Encourages Chinese Investment in Pakistan’s Labor-Intensive Industries

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has extended an invitation to Chinese entrepreneurs to explore the investment opportunities available in Pakistan, particularly in labor-intensive industries. Speaking at the Pakistan-China Business Roundtable Conference in Beijing, Dar highlighted the government’s efforts to create an attractive environment for foreign investors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dar detailed the expedited construction of special economic zones and the attractive incentives available for establishing various industrial units. He outlined 13 key areas identified as having high potential for Chinese and Pakistani entrepreneurs to either establish industries on an ownership basis or through joint ventures with local businesses.

Dar emphasized the competitive and lucrative incentives available in special economic zones, export processing zones, Gwadar free zone, and special technology zones, encouraging Chinese business leaders to take advantage of these opportunities.
