Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Commits to Energy Self-Sufficiency in Pakistan

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has pledged the government’s steadfast support for the petroleum industry as part of its broader goal to achieve energy self-sufficiency in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy Prime Minister Dar made these remarks while chairing the second meeting of the Committee on Petroleum Industry Issues, which was initially formed by the Prime Minister. The committee’s agenda included a review of the progress on the actionable points established during their first meeting.

During the session, Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed satisfaction with the advancements made thus far and emphasized the need to actively continue pursuing all planned initiatives to bolster the petroleum sector and ensure the country’s progress towards energy independence.
