Deputy Prime Minister Dar Arrives in Istanbul for OIC Meeting

Istanbul: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, arrived in Istanbul, Turkiye, to participate in the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The session is set to commence on Saturday.

Upon his arrival at the airport, Dar was welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, along with Consul General Nauman Aslam and a representative from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to his participation in the OIC meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister attended the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum’s Grand Youth Award Ceremony. The event took place in Istanbul and was attended by invitation from the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.

The ceremony recognized President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his leadership and commitment to youth empowerment. In his address, Ishaq Dar conveyed the appreciation and congratulations of the Pakistani nation and its leadership to President Erdogan for the honor bestowed upon him by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum.
