Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has announced the creation of a Seerat Endowment Fund with an initial allocation of 100 million rupees. The announcement was made during the Inaugural Ceremony of the 3rd International Seerat Festival.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar stated that the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) provides guidance for enhancing justice, mutual respect, and understanding among nations. He stressed the importance of integrating the values of the Seerah into education for the younger generation.
During his address, Mr. Dar also noted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to build bridges and promote regional peace. Additionally, he urged adherence to the UN Charter and relevant UN resolutions in addressing the situations in Palestine and resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
