Deputy Prime Minister and Somalia’s Foreign Minister Discuss Release of Pakistani Hostages

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a discussion with Somalia’s Foreign Minister Abdisalam Ali to address the ongoing efforts to secure the release of Pakistani hostages aboard the MT Honour 25. Dar emphasized Pakistan’s serious concerns regarding the hostages’ situation and highlighted the need for their well-being, swift release, and safe return home.

According to Radio Pakistan, Somalia’s Foreign Minister Abdisalam Ali provided assurances to Ishaq Dar about his government’s persistent and genuine efforts to achieve the hostages’ release as soon as possible. Both officials committed to maintaining close coordination to resolve the situation promptly.
