Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi engaged in a telephonic conversation today to address the increasing tensions in the Middle East and the broader region, emphasizing the necessity of easing these tensions through dialogue and diplomacy.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussion focused on the evolving regional situation and global developments. During the call, Foreign Minister Wang Yi acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts aimed at promoting de-escalation and stability. Both leaders underscored the importance of pursuing diplomatic solutions in line with the United Nations Charter.
The conversation also reaffirmed the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, with both sides committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation. They agreed to maintain close contact to further these objectives.
