Deputy PM Mohammad Ishaq Dar Attends OIC Meeting in Saudi Arabia


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has traveled to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Extraordinary Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee. His visit also included religious observances at significant Islamic sites in Madinah.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, upon arrival at Madinah airport, Ishaq Dar was welcomed by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, and the Director General of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs Madinah Branch, Ibrahim bin Muhammad Saeed Alsobhi. During his stay, Dar engaged in religious activities, offering Zuhr and Asar prayers at the Roza-e-Rasool (SAWW) and paying homage to the Shuhada-e-Uhud at Jabal-e-Uhud.



The visit underscores the strengthening diplomatic and religious ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the significance of the OIC in fostering unity and cooperation among member states.
