Deputy Mayor of Karachi Visits Faizan-e-Madina, Pledges Support for Eid Milad-ul-Nabi Celebrations

Karachi: In a significant move ahead of the annual Eid Milad-ul-Nabi celebrations, Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad visited Faizan-e-Madina, meeting with the organizers and affirming the city’s support for the event. The Deputy Mayor emphasized the importance of Dawat-e-Islami workers in orchestrating the festivities, which attract millions from across the globe.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Deputy Mayor Murad, alongside prominent figures such as Karamullah Waqasi, spokesperson for Political Affairs, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Dil Muhammad, People’s Party leader Khalil Hot, and several Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) officers, engaged with the event organizers at Faizan-e-Madina. Murad stated that Karachi, known for its grand celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, is unique in its scale of celebration and pledged full support from KMC for the upcoming event.

The visit also included briefings by Member Shuri Rafi Attari, who highlighted that Faizan-e-Madina hosts delegates from around the world for the celebrations. This international gathering underscores Karachi’s status as a significant center for religious events linked to the Prophet Muhammad.

The Deputy Mayor reiterated the city’s commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of the procession and related activities, recognizing the deep cultural and spiritual significance of the event for millions associated with the Rushdo Hidayat Center Faizan Madina.
