Deputy Commissioner of Kachhi Inspects Central Jail Machh and Newly Constructed Hospital

Kachhi, During an unannounced visit to Central Jail Machh, Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch emphasized the importance of rehabilitation and skills development for inmates, underscoring the facility’s role in fostering reform and peaceful reintegration into society.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Captain Baloch, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Machh Arslan Chaudhry and other officials, received a detailed briefing on the operations and conditions within the jail. The Deputy Commissioner expressed his vision for the prison as a place of transformation, where inmates could acquire skills useful for securing legitimate employment upon release.

Following the jail inspection, Captain Baloch visited the newly opened 50-bed hospital in Machh, where he inspected various departments and lauded the arrangements. He highlighted the critical responsibility of medical staff to deliver exceptional care and called for broader accessibility to the healthcare services provided at the facility. Captain Baloch also acknowledged security concerns and other issues raised during his visit, committing to relay these to higher authorities for prompt action and ensuring the management’s cooperation to address them effectively.
