Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan met with a variety of delegations at the Parliament House, emphasizing the government’s commitment to national development and unity. The meetings, held separately with parliamentarians, lawyers, doctors, students, tribal elders, and senior journalists, focused on fostering cooperation across sectors.
Former Senator Behramand Khan Tangi and former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, also participated in the discussions along with their delegations. The Deputy Chairman called on political parties to work in unison for the national interest.
In discussions, Khan highlighted Balochistan’s significant role in Pakistan’s progress, underscoring the government’s dedication to development projects and resource distribution for the province’s underprivileged communities.
During his meeting with lawyers, Khan stressed the importance of upholding the Constitution and assured support for addressing the legal community’s challenges. He acknowledged the critical role of doctors in society, noting that healthcare improvement and staff welfare are government priorities.
Khan recognized the contributions of tribal elders to national unity, affirming the government’s commitment to their rights and representation. He also praised parliamentarians for their role in strengthening democracy, urging active participation in legislation for public welfare.
