Deputy Chairman Senate Highlights Business Community’s Role in Economic Growth

Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan emphasized the indispensable role of the business community in Pakistan’s economic development during a meeting with the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). Acknowledging their contributions to investment growth and job creation, Khan highlighted the significance of traders and entrepreneurs in fostering national prosperity.

The event, organized in honor of Sardar Tahir Mahmood, the newly elected ICCI President, saw Khan extend congratulations to Mahmood and his team, including Senior Vice President Tahir Ayyub and Vice President Irfan Chaudhry. He praised the proactive engagement and dynamic representation by Islamabad’s business community in promoting trade and investment.

Khan underscored the importance of ICCI as a vital partner in shaping Pakistan’s economic policies. He commended its efforts in reform-oriented dialogue and policy suggestions that aim to stabilize the economy.

Khan also highlighted Balochistan’s potential, advocating for stronger linkages between Islamabad Chamber and Balochistan chambers to boost trade, industrial growth, and job creation. He concluded by congratulating the ICCI leadership and expressing optimism for Pakistan’s economic growth and stability.
