Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar has called for national unity to address global challenges and ensure world peace. He highlighted the importance of cooperation among political parties, state institutions, and the public to promote peace and stability both regionally and internationally.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Nasar made these remarks at an Iftar dinner hosted by former Senator Waqar Ahmad Khan. He emphasized that Pakistan’s political and military leadership are aligned and taking measures to strengthen the country’s role in promoting stability. Nasar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to global peace and diplomatic relations based on mutual respect.

He further stressed that national unity and political harmony are crucial for Pakistan’s development and security, noting the coordinated efforts needed from both political and military leadership. Nasar also praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their dedication to national defense, particularly acknowledging Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir’s leadership.

The event, attended by various political figures and diplomats, included special prayers for Pakistan’s progress and unity. Host Waqar Ahmad Khan praised Nasar’s contributions in the Senate, and attendees emphasized the need for national unity for the country’s advancement.
